These case sealers represent the gold standard of case sealing performance, proven in years of production to deliver square, securely sealed cases with less wear or care. With a small footprint (only 10’ long) and A-B-C’s trademark rugged construction, these sealers satisfy the most challenging sealing requirements.
Quality construction for top performance and reliability
This case sealer's heavy gauge steel frame is welded and bolted for strength and vibration-free operation. The upper operating mechanisms are secured to the frame by a solid rack and gear system. Drive shafts are solid 1-1/4" steel.
Clear guard doors enclose the machine, keeping your line operators safe while allowing full visibility of operation. Safety interlocks stop machine operation when the doors are opened to allow full access to the machine.
At only 10’ long including compression, this case sealer packs top performance into a compact footprint that ensures easy integration on the packaging line.
Intelligent machine control makes operation simple
At the touchscreen, you control all functions, diagnostics, and changeover settings following clear, step-by-step sequences. Real-time operating data is available at a glance.
All case settings are programmed for one-touch selection. To run a new case size, simply run a case through the sealer. It senses and sets the new adhesive pattern, eliminating the need to input new settings and run test cases.
Product feed and line speed fluctuations are easily accommodated
The high speed metering belt case infeed keeps the line moving at maximum speed. Cases can feed in random or back to back sequence and they are spaced automatically for precisely synchronized flap folding and sealing.
Reliable minor flap folding and case-squaring major flap closing
The trailing minor flap is closed by a reciprocating or servo tucker depending on the application. The major flaps are smoothly folded precisely at the scoreline by contoured major flap folders. This proven design is key to forming square cases.
The adhesive sealer has a steel tongue that rides between the flaps as they are folded, squaring the case and preventing flap overlap. The tape sealer employs a guide rail that squares the case during tape application.
NO-CRUSH compression rollers square cases as they seal
The adhesive sealer has an integrated compression section with flexible rollers that compress the case flaps securely. The flexible rollers provide full compression for cases of varying height and provide square, well-sealed cases that perform well at the palletizer, forming strong and stable pallet loads.
External tape roll offers quick and easy refill
The tape system is externally mounted, for quick and easy roll replacement without opening the machine guarding. The attendant simply replaces the tape roll and attaches the new roll to the tail of the previous one.
An optional “roll empty” sensor stops the sealer as the end of the tape leaves the roll.

Wide case range and sealing flexibility ensure future-proof production
Both the adhesive and tape sealer run a wide range of case sizes with rapid adjust cranks for easy changeover adjustments.
For packagers requiring additional flexibility, the sealer is offered with independent sealing modules to seal with both hot melt adhesive and tape. Conversion from one sealing method to another is simple. Just remove the sealing module and replace it with the alternate sealing module, and you are back in production.
