Decasers

Decasers for reshipper case unloading

Decasers (also called uncasers) are used to unload containers from reshipper cases. The containers are packed in "necks down" position, with the container finish at the bottom of the case. Necks-down cases are shipped from the container manufacturer with the top case flaps unsealed. Decasers automatically feed cases then unload and single file the containers, providing a continuous supply of empty containers to the production line. The systems also upright the empty cases for conveyor transport to case packing.

For companies buying containers in reshipper cases, A-B-C decasers provide fast and efficient case unloading. They do the work of three machines: flap opening, container uncasing, and single filing–in continuous, mechanical, high-speed operation. Containers are handled gently from case to unloading belt and single filed with minimum container contact. This is key to maintaining container stability when handling lightweight plastic, and in preventing container damage when handling glass.

For many years, A-B-C decasers have been essential on many food and beverage production lines, from condiments and salad dressings, to bottled beverages, wine and distilled spirits. They are used in the chemical industry to unload large containers. With proven production in a range of industries, these decasers are a solid investment for any reshipper case operation.

Decaser Benefits: Streamlining Your Packaging Operations

In today's busy manufacturing world, packaging automation is key to increasing productivity and profitability. Automatic reshipper decasing has long been an important tool to help simplify operations and improve efficiency, and ensure a consistent supply of containers to the packaging line. Integrating automated uncasing into your packaging operation has many great benefits:

Better Container Handling with Automatic Decasers

Automatic decasing can boost productivity by providing a continuous supply of empty bottles to the packaging line. In addition, the gentle handling provided by an automatic system maintains product stability from unloading through single filling. This careful handling minimizes the risk of potential line interruptions or stoppages from downed or damaged containers. Finally, container integrity will be protected by eliminating bottle contact, ensuring top stability and good product performance on the bottling and capping line and beyond.

Ergonomic Advantages of Uncasers

Decasers offer ergonomic advantages that also reduce costs, providing a dependable solution that eliminates manual dumping of cases. No longer will you be challenged to maintain a work force for this difficult and repetitive task. By eliminating the need for employees to manually handle heavy cases in repetitive lifting and twisting motion you can reduce the risk of injuries, improve the safety of your work environment, and reassign workers to more productive tasks on the packaging line.

Increased Decasing Flexibility

Decasers offer flexibility to unload many styles of glass and plastic containers and a range of case size variations. Typically, changeover is simple and requires minimum downtime. If your package or product changes, the decaser can be adjusted to run the new style.
